The transformation of Port Macquarie’s Rotary Park was officially revealed today.
All part of the Rotary Park Masterplan, the $185,000 project includes a new playground to help attract families and tourists to the area.
“On the weekends this is a very busy place compared to 12 months ago when there was no one here at all, and that means money well spent.”
Other additions include a shared cycle path, new picnic shelters and a feature garden.
The federal government contributed $118,000 to the plan.
