The Tamworth Kangaroos’ hopes of a grand final berth have been shattered by the New England Nomads, who delivered a crushing 14 point defeat yesterday.
While the Roos haven’t beaten the Nomads this season, the game went down to the wire, in the last quarter both teams were sitting on 76 points.
But in the final stages the Nomads managed to break away, sealing the win.
They’ll now face the Inverell Saints in the Grand Final on Saturday.
