JOCKEY OUT OF INTENSIVE CARE

Hunter Valley jockey Hari Singh has been moved out of intensive care at John Hunter Hospital, with his condition now stable.
Singh fell heavily in a race at Tamworth on Tuesday and was later placed in an induced coma with serious head injuries.
Racing NSW safety officer, Maurice Logue, visited Singh on Friday at John Hunter Hospital and said the jockey was continuing to make steady improvement.
“His condition has improved and he is now listed as stable,” Logue said.
“He has been moved out of the intensive care unit and into a ward.”
Racing NSW is trying organise for his wife and daughter to be flown from India to be at Singh’s side.
