They might not have snared gold like Sally, but Courtney Atkinson and Brad Kahlefeldt still did their home town proud, both completing the Men’s Triathlon overnight.
Kahlefeldt finished in 32nd spot, with Atkinson the best placed Australian, finishing 16th overall.
The former ironman from Mermaid Beach completed the course in one hour and 49 minutes.
