Westpac helicopters has hit back at claims its new Gold Coast police chopper won’t be up to scratch.
The Queensland Police Union says it’s worried the safety and operational features aren’t as good as what’s currently available.
Something the crew has rejected.
“Our crew and also the equipment that we use are highly trained and state of the art.”
The new chopper is due to start its three month trial next week.
