Heavily eroded Gold Coast beaches, are in for another battering with a four metre swell predicted this weekend.
It comes as council fights to retain what’s there now.
Over the last week the city’s iconic beaches from The Spit to Nobbys have been hammered, with metres of sand lost to the wild seas.
Tourism authorities are worried the city’s iconic beaches won’t be returned to their usual state in time for the summer holidays.
