46-year-old Steven Andrew Larkins pleaded guilty to the aggravated indecent assault of two boys aged 11 and 12, in separate incidents in 1992 and 1997.

  1. Not long enough – I know someone who committed similar and he got three years – that is not long enough either.

  2. You should tell the readers what “aggravated indecent assault” means. Pauline Aitken (above comment) obviously doesn’t know. We all need to know what the law is these days. The 31 yo man who made the charge was silent for about 20 years. It has been 10 years since he was an adult of 21. So he allowed Larkins to go unpunished for a very long time. You should comment on why. Most likely the accuser didn’t know the law had been broken. If Larkins pinched boys on the bum or touched them in the groin area – then why not tell us? If you don’t know – then it’s better not to write the story.
