Police say they will need to use dental records to help them, formally identify a man involved in a fatal pedestrian accident at Chinderah yesterday.
The victim, believed to be from Queensland, was hit by a truck on the Pacific Highway and died at the scene.
The accident closed the road for several hours, with most traffic diverted through Murwillumbah
