A 24 year-old man from Wooloweyah, south of Yamba is facing multiple charges after allegedly leading police on a wild chase through the streets of the Gold Coast yesterday.
It’s alleged the stolen car he was driving was involved in two separate hit and run crashes at Surfers Paradise and Southport at around 10am.
He was arrested after allegedly stealing a push bike in Southport to make his escape.
No one was injured in the crashes.
The man will face Gold Coast Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
