A teenager has died following a motor vehicle accident south of Cessnock.
At around 5.40pm yesterday an 18 year old man, and his 17-year-old passenger, were travelling along Congewai Street, Aberdare, when he collided with a four-wheel-drive.
The rider sustained serious leg and head injuries and was flown to John Hunter Hospital but died as result of his injuries.
His passenger suffered minor injuries.
