SCHOOL TEACHER FACES COURT OVER DRY ICE INCIDENT
A casual school teacher has faced court over a dry ice incident at Terrigal High School, on the Central Coast.
The 49-year-old is facing several charges, including causing grievous bodily harm by a negligent act, after allegedly daring year seven students to hold dry ice in their hands during a science class in Feburary.
Some suffered serious burns.
The teacher, who has since been removed from the employment eligibility list, didn’t enter a plea today, and is due back in court next month.
