ROADS BOOST IN CLARENCE COUNCIL BUDGET

Clarence Valley Council will dip into its financial reserves to spend an extra $1-million on its roads.

This year’s budget also includes $100,000 for stage two of the Grafton waterfront walkway and cyclepaths.

Maclean will also see an upgrade of its waterfront precinct including plans for a boardwalk and marina complex.

New coastal walks will also be built at Yamba, while $20,000 has been set aside for a strategy to fight sand dune erosion at Wooli.
