SNOW REPORT – BLUE COW TO OPEN

Luke Kneller has an update on the slopes.

It’s been rather dark and cloudy up here in Perisher, there is snow on the forecast though so lets just hope that the temperatures drop and it comes sooner rather than later.

With the warmer temperatures over the last few nights only a handful of snowguns were able to fire up, they did however manage to produce some snow and top up the cover. The incredible cover we do have is holding up well, remaining firm in the morning then softening throughout the day.

9 lifts were in operation today with Happy Valley T-bar and the quad express. 12 runs were groomed and ready to go with the pick being goats gulley for the more advanced whie beginners learnt the basics on Front Valley.

For the jibbers 2 terrain parks were open and in full swing, with the Slopestyle on Front Valley filled with rails and boxes as well as an Up-down rail, corregated pipe and a 30ft jump for the more advanced. While the begginers hit up the smaller features of The Yabbie Park.

The big news today though is that we can announce that as of tomorrow Blue Cow will be open so make sure to check the notice boards in the morning for what lifts and run will be operating.
