A Lake Macquarie couple celebrated a magnificent milestone today – their 70th wedding anniversary.
Noel and Audrey Hodges were 23 and 22 when they married, Noel just home from the Second World War.
The couple lived in Kempsey, Armidale and Sydney then retired to South West Rocks.
They have three children including twins.
Now living at Booragul, Noel and Audrey say the secret to their happy marriage has been compromise, and having separate as well as shared interests.
