Weather Update: Queens Birthday Long Weekend

Although we are currently experiencing some calmer weather across the country compared to the beginning of the week, unfortunately it is not going to stay that way for the coming long weekend.

An east coast low is building off the Capricornia coast, bringing heavy rain and possible gail force winds to South East Queensland. Rainfall will increase Saturday and Sunday, bringing heavy rain and gail force winds into Monday. This low will filter south over the border into NSW and into the northern rivers.

We urge motorists to drive to the conditions and arrive safely this long weekend.
