  1. My son is Connor Wink and he is totally blind. He is singing Imagine in Star Struck with the young lady featured tonight. I’m really upset he didn’t even get a mention after all the hard work he has put in to achieve his place in Star Struck

I personally would like to congratulate your son for his achievements, and look forward to seeing the performance…

  4. I have a son in The Signing Choir and I would also like to congratulate your son on his achievement and I look forward to seeing him perform. This story though was about the Signing Choir not Star Struck in general. I really hope your son gets the recognition he most certainly deserves but that should not detract from the efforts our children have put in as well. You could have at least given our kids the congratulations you want for your son as well. I’m sure all of our kids will make us very proud.

  5. I have a daughter in the signing choir and another child that attends school with Connor and we all think Connor is wonderful and look forward to seeing him perform. I have to side with Julie though as the story was about the signing choir which has been in star struck for 19 years. It was also not about children with adversity through their disabilities or their amazing acheivements and no doubt that as parents of children with a diability we can all be proud. No doubt also, Connor will receive much acknowledgement from his performance in star struck as he surely deserves. You sounded quite selfish with your comments and I think you should know better than to take away from anything disabled children do to better themselves and you should have at least congratulated the signing choir before asking for recognition of Connor in something that was nothing to do with him.
