PEDESTRIAN KILLED AFTER BEING HIT BY CAR AT EVANS HEAD

A 76-year-old man died after being hit by a car at Evan’s Head this morning.

He was crossing Wattle Street just after 8 o’clock when he was hit.

Ambulance officers arrived at the scene and issued CPR but were unable to revive the man.

Police are still at the scene and will interview the 46-year-old female driver.
