POLICE BUST CESSNOCK DRUG SUPPLY RING

Four people have been charged with drug offences following an investigation into property theft and drug supply at Cessnock, in the Hunter Valley.

Police searched a house in Maitland Road, Cessnock, allegedly seizing methylamphetamine and LSD, firearms and a large quantity of suspected stolen property.

A 40-year-old Cessnock woman, 41-year-old Windale man, 25-year-old Cessnock woman and an 18-year-old Cessnock man have been charged with a string of offences, including possessing a prohibited drug and dealing with property suspected of being the proceeds of crime.
