WEATHER UPDATE – COLD SNAP JUST IN TIME FOR WINTER

In the run up to winter an inland rain event is starting to develop.
It’s been a dry May across the inland, but there’s been plenty of showers along the North Coast thanks to consistent onshore winds.
But the inland’s dry spell is about to change, with high cloud building across the north west by the weekend.
Widespread rain will continue over the north of the state and heavy rain will funnel in off the South Coast of New South Wales.
Another surge of cold polar air will move in just in time for the first week of winter.
