A number of elderly residents have been robbed in a series of break-ins at a mid north coast retirement village.
At around 3am, two people wearing hoodies broke into the main office at the Taree Gardens facility, stealing several sets of keys, and cash from a fundraising box.
They then broke into four residents’ villas, and proceeded to raid 15 cars parked nearby.
Police are still searching for those involved.
