INDEPENDENT INVESTIGATION INTO TOXIC HIGHWAY

An independent investigation is to be carried out into the circumstances surrounding a toxic chemical incident on the Pacific Highway at Port Macquarie.

Seven road workers were overcome by toxic fumes when a chemical dump site was accidentally unearthed during highway upgrade roadworks.
