Police have charged a 51-year-old man at Gloucester with child grooming after police posed as a teenager on-line.
Police yesterday executed a search warrant at the man’s home, after an undercover police officer posed as a 14-year-old girl and engaged in online conversations with the man.
It’s alleged the conversations were sexually explicit, and that they organised to meet.
He was charged with using a carriage service to procure a person under 16 and use of a carriage service to groom a person under 16.
He was granted conditional bail and will appear at Taree Local Court in May.
