They say love can last a lifetime, and one Newcastle couple is out to prove it.
Surrounded by family and friends, Ron and Grace Robertson today celebrated 70 years of wedded bliss.
The couple, both aged in their 90s, tied the knot back in 1942 after meeting at church in Branxton.
They say the key to a long and happy marriage is understanding.
