While day one of the the Casino verse Cudgen cricket semi-final went off without a hitch today, wet weather has disrupted the other game, forcing the Ballina Bears into the practice nets instead of taking on Tintenbar-East Ballina.
The teams are now hoping the ground will dry overnight for tomorrow.
If it does, the pressure will be on Tintenbar East Ballina to win otherwise the Ballina Bears make the finals by default.
“Times against them now, it’s hard, it’s cruel but we can’t control the weather and it’s too wet out there ”
Umpires will make the call tomorrow.
