Surf boat crews from across the north coast have been busy on the water, preparing for the biggest event of the year.
The Australian Championships get underway on the Gold Coast next week, and Woolgoolga surf club is among the main contenders.
The under-19 Seahawks crew’s feeling extra confident after returning from the state championships at Kingscliff on the weekend with bronze.
But the club says a gold medal at the nationals would cap off a phenomenal season which has included wins in the state country championships and the North Coast series.
