Ballina’s biggest icon the Big Prawn, has been saved from the wrecking ball, with council today approving it’s relocation together with a new Bunnings development.
The crustacean will now be a major landmark at the new Hardware store to be developed adjacent to the River Street and Quays Drive roundabout.
The motion was passed nine votes to one.
