The Pacific Highway action group campaigning for safety improvements in local communities will meet with the Roads and Maritime Services in Urunga on Friday.
The meeting, from 3pm at the local golf club, follows the double-fatality in the town last month.
Residents of Urunga want the speed limit dropped to 40 kilometres an hour.
Community members have been invited to attend the meeting to put forward ideas on how safety can be improved on the notorious highway blackspot.
