The Byron Bay Golf Club has beaten over 30 other nominees to claim the 2011 PGA Legends tour of the year award.
The club received the gong for its Australian Legends tournament in December which saw many former national and international champions tee off.
Former British Open winner Ian Baker-Finch took out the competition and will be back this December to defend his title.
