HYDROGEOLOGIST TO FRONT CSG MEETING

The Barrington Gloucester Stroud Preservation Alliance is continuing its fight against coal seam gas mining, inviting a hydrogeologist to address a community forum.

Professor Philip Pells will explain the impact on water resources in Gloucester if AGL goes ahead with its plan for 110 wells.

The Alliance led a community blockade in December last year, calling for the company to conduct a fully independent water study.

However, AGL is standing by its own internal study.

Professor Pells will address interested stakeholders at the Gloucester Soldiers Club tomorrow night at seven.
