Surfest organisers have received a massive boost, with two of the world’s best in Joel Parkinson and Taj Burrow announcing they’ll take part in the six-star men’s event next month.
The world’s top women surfers, Carissa Moore and Sally Fitzgibbons, have also confirmed they’ll be the headline acts in the Women’s Classic.
Merewether’s Ryan Callinan says he’s excited about the prospect of taking on the likes of Burrow and Parkinson at Surfest.
The 19-year-old has had a horror run of injuries, but is set to return to competition at his home event.
