END IN SIGHT FOR BLOCKADE
The blockade of a Gloucester property to prevent AGL drilling four coal seam gas exploration wells is about to come to an end.
Residents have been blockading the site for 12 days, demanding AGL cease drilling operations until an independent water study is completed.
AGL agreed to the conditions, but the details of the water study are still being negotiated.
Today, AGL began the process of vacating the property which is expected to take a few days.
Residents will host a party at the blockade site on Saturday night, before shutting it down on Sunday.
