Aboriginal children in Port Macquarie have been treated to an early Christmas celebration.
Organised by local aboriginal health, child care and family services, the Christmas party for the under fives was a huge hit.
Santa brought with him a bag full of classic Aussie books, which the little ones wasted no time getting stuck into.
The event, which is usually held in the picturesque grounds of the Biripi Aboriginal Land Council, was moved indoors because of the weather.
But that didn’t seem to trouble the little ones at all, so long as Santa was there.
