  1. If this is what digital television is all about, bring back analogue. Twice this week we have been disappointed and unable to watch programmes we really wanted to see. My grandsons were visiting Friday night, both play rugby league, and they were looking forward to seeing the test match. We got no picture at all, funny thing the reception was fine on Prime.

Last night we wanted to watch Beaconsfield, guess what? same thing except that the ads and news came on perfectly. We listened to the sound through FM radio and watched a badly pixilated picture with little or no sound. Sometimes we saw a fuzzy image. As our analogue aerial has been disconnected we could get little or nothing that way either. We were really looking forward to this movie as, as everyone else did, we lived every moment on TV when the story was happening. Hope you are going to replay it some time or it will be available on DVD. (I have also contacted you by phone.)

  2. Typical, no response, who cares about the viewers? You already have the sponsors dollars.

  3. Hello,
Not too sure whether I should be posting this here.
My family and myself were born and bred in Newcastle and have enjoyed your wonderful station since our younger years. We also listened to NBN via the Radio 91.7 FM whilst enjoying our evening meal, but now it disappeared when the analogue signal was switched of just recently. Unfortunately we are not in a digital radio signal area. My question to NBN, Is there any way we can continue listening through the radio or should we just get a digital TV for our dining area?

    Thanks in advance

  4. I live in the Moree area, very close to our communications tower in town.

I too, am VERY VERY disappointed in the digital technology. At the moment, I’d rather watch black and white TV on an old box than try and sit through disrupted, pixelated signals that digital offers. I love “The Voice”, but there is no point in watching it if you only catch every second line.

We have already spent a lot of money on re-wiring and a new antenna – which has added NO viewing benefit.

If I were a sponsor, I’d withdraw my contract, because I am probably not the only one who has turned their TV off in frustration.

What can we, as consumers, do?
