A light plane has crashed ito a ferris wheel at a fair at Old Bar near Taree on the mid north coast.
The ultra light attempted to take off just after 10am when it collided with the ferris wheel which was carrying a number of childen.
Two children, a boy and girl, were on the ferris wheel at the time. They were not injured.
The pilot and passenger were also not injured in the crash.
Police and emergency services are working to safely remove the children from the ferris wheel and the occupants from the plane.
