A number of Group-3 rugby league players are in the running for the 2011 NBN Player of the Year award.
The top three players from each game are allocated points, with the highest point scorer at the end of the season taking home the award.
Reigning premiers Forster-Tuncurry are represented, with Matt Finlayson contesting the prize, while Port City’s Mitch Fowler is also a chance.
Ben Cross from the Camden Haven Eagles is yet another contender.
The winner will be announced tonight at Wingham Services Club.
