BALLINA HOSPITAL AUXILIARY CELEBRATES 75 YEARS.
For its 75th anniversary, the Ballina Hospital Auxiliary celebrated by doing what it does best.
Today, volunteers set up shop, selling a variety of treasures to raise money for much needed hospital equipment.
“The hospital administration send us a wish list of what they would like and it’s up to us what we spend the money on.”
And they are professional fundraisers.
This year the auxiliary has already helped the hospital purchase $33,000 worth of equipment, and more donations are on their way.
“We just okayed another $24 000 worth of things for the hospital.”
Last year in New South Wales, auxiliaries raised $9.2 million dollars.
