In the NBN State League Hamilton and the Gunners shared the points, Broadmeadow maintained its dominance with a big win over Weston, while Lake Macquarie put the brakes on Edgeworth’s mid season revival.
Following a hat trick last weekend, Joel Wood had the first chance to get the Eagles flying but his touch went missing.

Sean Mathews tried his luck from long range but Edgeworth keeper Ben Smith had it well covered.
His opposite number Brad Swancott kept the visitors’ hopes alive with a solid save shortly before the break.
