A 57-year-old man has been granted bail after allegedly stabbing a woman several times in Ballina last night.
Peter McLennan appeared in Lismore Court this morning, charged with reckless wounding.
It’s alleged he used a knife to stab the 40-year-old woman in the neck, hands and right leg following an argument at his Crane Street address.
The woman is in Lismore Base Hospital in a stable condition.
McLennan will next appear at Ballina Local Court on August the 18th.
