Three Group-19 players will line up in the New South Wales Country Seconds side to take on Queensland later this month.
Inverell Hawks full back Mitch Porter, who scored eight tries in the lead up rep matches, and Tenterfield’s Damian Petrie have made it into the starting line up, while Tingha Tigers player Nick Dawson will be on the interchange.
The Group-19 players are the region’s only representatives to get the call up for the 17-man squad.
The New South Wales Country Seconds will come up against the maroons in the Outback Challenge, to be played at Uralla on the 23rd of this month.
