Those hoping to give feedback on Byron Shire Council’s draft Coastal Zone Management Plan, will have to wait.
Despite council today voting 5-4 to seek public feedback on the document, three councillors immediately moved a motion blocking its exhibition.
The issue will now be revisited when council meets again next thursday.
The controversial plan details the proposed installation of a rock wall at Belongil.
