A Greenpeace activist who locked himself in a steel box, bolted to a Hunter rail line, has been arrested.
Complete with solar panels, communications equipment and even a porta potti, the bright yellow box was designed to sustain its occupant for three days.
The stunt delayed a coal train leaving the Mt Arthur Mine near Muswellbrook.
In the end, the protest, calling for mine owner BHP Billiton to pay the carbon tax, lasted three hours.
Five activists were arrested.
