ORDER TO LEAVE WATER QUESTIONED AT SAXON BIRD’S INQUEST

A police officer competing in last year’s National Life Saving Titles at Kurrawa says he questioned an order for life savers to get out of the water the day Saxon Bird died.

He thought they had the best chance of finding the missing ironman.
