Mums and bubs gathered in Mullumbimby today to say thank you to the midwives who helped in every step of their pregnancy.
The celebrations are part of International Midwives Day, which recognises the hard work performed by midwives.
“They do such a fantastic job they provide such a holistic service and form such a bond in such a special time in women and their family’s lives”
Mullumbimby hospital also celebrated the first 18-months of its new Model of Maternity Care, which gives women the opportunity to see the same Midwife throughout their pregnancy.
