CAR CRASHES THROUGH SHOPFRONT AFTER BRAKES FAIL ON STEEP HILL

Police have praised the quick thinking of a 44-year-old driver, whose brakes failed while heading down a steep hill on a busy Central Coast highway.

The terrified man swerved to miss several other cars, before going through a shopfront and plummeting off a ledge, into scaffolding.
