CORONER CALLS FOR COLD CASE INVESTIGATION INTO HARMONY BRYANT’S DEATH

A coronial inquest into the death of mid north coast woman Harmony Bryant has found she likely met with foul play.
The 26-year-old’s burnt and badly injured body was found just metres from her crashed and burnt out car at Bonny Hills in August 2003.
An initial police investigation found her death was the result of a single vehicle crash.
But yesterday Deputy State Coroner, Malcom MacPherson found there was little doubt Ms Bryant met with foul play .
He also criticised the police investigation and recommended the case be investigated by the State Crime Command.
