A 35-year old man has lost a finger following a motorbike accident at Mt Burrell near Kyogle.
Around midday, the man rode off the road and into a guard rail, severing his finger and causing multiple abrasions.
He was airlifted to Lismore Base Hospital in a stable condition.

There is no prospect of a claim in these circumstances which is unfortunate for the poor fella missing a digit. Does make you wonder bout lighting at the location but he clearly drifted to the barrier and injured himself.
