The future location of Nambucca’s Men’s Shed could be decided this week, when Nambucca Shire Council considers a recommendation to provide financial help.
The Men’s Shed has operated at its Railway Road site since 1999.
On Thursday the council will decide on whether to provide the organisation with a grant of $40,000, which will assist with the creation of a new shed in the Macksville industrial estate.
“The Men’s Shed is a very important community service in the Nambucca Valley in fact it was one of the first men’s sheds in Australia to be formed and they provide important work to the unemployed and the disabled.”
