A nurse is in a critical condition in Sydney’s Royal North Shore hospital following a horrific car accident on the Central Coast this morning.
The 54 year old lost control of her car, and smashed into an aged care home where she worked.

I would lay a bet that the car had sudden unintented acceleration. My mother had the same thing happen to her, in a Mitsubishi Lancer, earlier this year. Luckily she got out with only minor injuries. When she and a witness described what happened, I did some research and this has happened on a number of occasions in Mitsubishis, and it seems to be connected to a problem with the cruise control. Mitsubishi Australia were informed but have done nothing about it.

No, this woman actually suffered a heart attack. I know of the family and the poor woman works herself into the ground to support herself and her daughter and most likely just overdid it.
My thoughts and prayers are with her; she has a heart of gold.
