FFA WITHDRAWS JETS A-LEAGUE LICENSE FROM CON CONSTANTINE

A-League club, the Newcastle Jets, has a new owner tonight, with Football Federation Australia withdrawing the license from millionaire businessman, Con Constantine.

Instead, mining and racing magnate Nathan Tinkler has taken control of the Jets for the remainder of the season, with an option to extend.

Constantine however hasn’t gone quietly, taking several parting shots at the FFA and its chairman, Frank Lowy.
