Police haven’t ruled out mounting a new search for one of Australia’s most wanted men, who’s believed to have been hiding in the Barrington Tops near Newcastle for several years.
Malcolm Naden is suspected of committing a double murder in 2005, following the disappearance of his cousin and the murder of Kristy Scholes.
Police believe Naden could be behind a spate of break and enters across the Barrington Tops.
He’s also been linked to a robbery near Scone in 2008.
Several other properties have been targeted in recent months, with non-perishable food, camping equipment and batteries being stolen
